The reviews
Electron Anticheat
Our winner. No other anticheat gives your staff this much evidence and visibility: session replay, live viewing and a live map all come as standard. And at €150 for lifetime, it's €100 cheaper than WaveShield too.

WaveShield
Broadly capable, with handy DVR recordings. But it has the most expensive lifetime licence and a '99.9%' claim nobody can check.

- Claims 15,000+ servers
- Broad detection package: aimbot, triggerbot, speed, teleport, god mode, ESP, noclip and Lua injection
- DVR recordings to review incidents
Cons
- The most expensive lifetime licence in this comparison (€250)
- '99.9% detection' is a marketing claim with no independent test
- GTAV Enhanced status not communicated

FireAC
A decent, transparent starting point for new servers, but no match for modern mod menus on a busy city.
Pros
- Free and open source: you can read every line
- Basic checks: god mode/health, noclip, super jump, explosion spam, injection
- ESX, QBCore and standalone, with an in-game admin menu (F9 or /fireac)
Cons
- No web panel and no vendor support

How we score
There's no independent test of detection rates, and we didn't run one either. Figures like "99.9% detection" come from the vendors themselves. Our scores are an editorial judgement based on public information: the vendors' websites and documentation, and independent overviews. We don't use affiliate links.
- Features
- Detection modules, protection of server events, web panel, APIs and framework integrations.
- Evidence & staff tools
- Screenshots, video, replays and live viewing. A ban without evidence can't be backed up in an appeal.
- Value for money
- Monthly price, any lifetime licence, and what the cheapest plan already includes.
- Transparency
- Published prices, verifiable claims, open source and track record, such as leaked source code.
- Final score
- The average of the four sub-scores.
More than an anticheat
Read the guideMost of the damage on FiveM servers isn't done by clever cheats, but by server events that blindly trust the client. That makes an anticheat the last layer, not the first:
- Don't trust the client. Check prices, items, distances and rate on the server.
- Only run clean resources. Leaked scripts often contain backdoors, and those get past any anticheat.
- Use an allowlist. An application or Discord check keeps most throwaway accounts out.
- Give your staff good tools, such as txAdmin and an admin menu with tight permissions.
- Log economy and admin actions, so you can look back and roll back.
- Then pick an anticheat that catches menus, aimbots and injectors and gives your team evidence.
