The big FiveM anticheat comparison of 2026

We put eight anticheats side by side. Electron Anticheat wins with an 8.5: nothing else gives your staff this much evidence and visibility. FiveGuard is the best lifetime deal.

Every anticheat site claims to be the best. One promises "99.9% detection", another calls itself "the best for serious servers", and almost every comparison page you find was written by an anticheat vendor. So we lined them up ourselves.

First, a disclaimerThere is no public, independent test of detection rates, and even the vendors admit it. So we did not measure how many cheaters each product catches. We rate what you can actually check: features, evidence for your staff, value for money and transparency.

How we score

Each anticheat gets four sub-scores from 1 to 10. The final score is the average.

  • Features — detection modules, event protection, panel, APIs.
  • Evidence & staff tools — screenshots, video, replays, live player streams. A ban without evidence is a ban you can't defend in an appeal.
  • Value for money — monthly price, lifetime option, what the cheapest tier includes.
  • Transparency — published prices, verifiable claims, open source, track record.

The winners

  • Winner: Electron Anticheat (8.5) — session replay, live viewing of up to 16 screens, video with every ban and a live map, all included as standard. Lifetime costs €150. Downside: prices aren't listed on the website.
  • Best lifetime deal: FiveGuard (7.9) — €125 one-off is the cheapest verified lifetime licence in the premium segment.
  • Best for staff teams: FiniAC — MultiStream (16 players at once, with audio) and a TrustScore built on 30+ variables.
  • Best on a budget: Raven AC — every ban comes with a screenshot and a runtime trace, from $17.99 a month.
  • Best free option: FireAC — open source (AGPL-3.0) and a fine place to start, but no replacement for a paid anticheat on a busy server.

  1. Resource use as measured by Electron on electron-services.com/compare; not independently verified. FiveGuard itself states 0.01–0.04 ms.
  2. The cheapest way to cover one year: the lifetime licence for Electron Anticheat, FiveGuard and WaveShield; FiniAC Core billed half-yearly (−30%); Reaper at $25 a month.

Watch out with GTAV Enhanced

FiveM for GTAV Enhanced has been in early access since July. According to FiveMonitor, FiveGuard's Enhanced support is on hold because cfx-game-view doesn't work in NUI there yet, and that affects every anticheat that takes screenshots or recordings through NUI. Electron says Electron Anticheat supports both Legacy and Enhanced builds. Running a different anticheat on an Enhanced test server? Ask your vendor for a concrete status.

Our verdict

Electron Anticheat is our winner, by a clear margin. No other anticheat gives your staff this much evidence and visibility, and the lifetime licence is keenly priced. If you want to pay once for as little as possible, FiveGuard is the best alternative. Read our full Electron Anticheat review for everything it does.

More generally: don't buy an anticheat because of a percentage on a landing page. Choose on evidence (can your staff back up a ban?), update cadence (leaked anticheats get bypassed fast) and value for money. And test two or three on a real server for a few weeks before you buy a lifetime licence.
