Server name, tags and banner? You now manage them in the Cfx Portal
Server metadata is moving from your config files to the Cfx Portal. Five tags at most, new banner sizes, and an ugly notice if you leave it blank.
Cfx.re is changing how servers present themselves in the FiveM and RedM server lists. Until now you set your server name, description, tags, language and images locally in your server config. Not anymore: that metadata is now managed in the Cfx Portal.
What was carried over?
Where it could, Cfx.re has backfilled recent information about your server. If no historical metadata was found, the fields stay blank, and the server list shows your server as "Missing server data (must be configured in Portal)". Not exactly the first impression you're after.
Tags: five at most
Servers can now have a maximum of five unique tags, set in the Portal. Players can search by those tags, so choose them carefully. Have more right now? Only the first five, in the order they were created, will be shown.
New image sizes
- Banner: 2560×280 px recommended, at least 1825×200 px.
- Profile image: 512×512 px recommended, at least 256×256 px.
