New txAdmin recipes: vMenu and the RTS game mode Warfare Tactics V

A server with vMenu, or a complete real-time strategy game mode, in one click. What's included, and what should you watch out for?

txAdmin recipes are ready-made server templates: pick one when you set up a new server and txAdmin installs everything for you. Two new ones have arrived, both made together with community developers.

Warfare Tactics V

A complete real-time strategy multiplayer game mode, built for FiveM by Enyo. Players have to think tactically, manage resources, capture territory and adapt to a battlefield that keeps changing. No two matches play out the same. A refreshing alternative to yet another RP city.

vMenu

The classic by TomGrobbe: a server-side menu where permissions decide what players can do. It covers:

  • Player options such as god mode, healing, wanted level, weapons and ped selection;
  • Extensive MP character customisation, with saving and spawning, including on join;
  • Vehicle options, including saving cars;
  • Full permission and configuration support.
Careful on public serversvMenu is powerful, and so is anyone who ends up with the wrong permissions. Put god mode, weapons and noclip behind admin groups before you open your server, or you'll soon have a server full of "cheaters" who are simply using the menu.

Earlier this year, on 28 July, the StreetKings recipe came out as well.
